"Rising Waters, Shifting Lives” is a Photographic Journey on Climate Displacement, highlighting some of the lives of Native Americans who reside in Isle de Jean Charles and Schriever, Louisiana during 2023-2024. These individuals are recognized by the federal government as the first American Indian community to be displaced due to climate change. In 2016, because their Tribal Lands which are 98% underwater they were granted $48 million to relocate to higher ground, 40 miles North, in Schriever, Louisiana.
